Manishi Pt. Janardan Rai Nagar, founder of JRN Vidyapeeth University had a mission to make a revolutionary change in education sector. He believed that education is the key to spread awareness and decided to set up an educational institute for lower section of society, for underprivileged girls and boys and adult literacy. To keep alive his dream this college was set up so that students from rural belt can get education. Manikya lal verma shramjeevi College is situated in Pratapnagar in University campus. M.V.S. College, located in the serene JRN Vidyapeeth University campus, is dedicated to empowering youngster through education. Founded with a mission to provide quality education to underprivileged girls and boys and promote adult literacy, the college offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. With a strong focus on inclusivity and sustainability, the college boasts a green and clean environment, fostering a conducive learning atmosphere. Since its inception in 2021, M.V.S. Girls College has grown to accommodate around 120 students, providing them with opportunities to pursue their academic aspirations. The college offers courses such as U.G. & P.G. Courses: B.A., B.Com, B.Sc. and M.A., M.Com. And equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in their chosen fields.

Manikya Lal Verma Shramjeevi College, Pratap Nagar, stands strong on all these parameters. Manikya Lal Verma Shramjeevi College was established on 21 October 2021. The institution offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc., MA, and M.Com programs, which are being conducted smoothly in accordance with NEP 2020 guidelines.
The college building consists of a ground floor and first floor, with approximately 10 classrooms. It includes 2 halls, 1 library, two washrooms on the ground floor and two on the first floor, one store room, one office, two staff rooms, and a pantry facility. Academic activities are conducted regularly, including classes, seminars, projects, assessments, and workshops. The infrastructure reflects the strength of the institution, with facilities such as a library, laboratories, computer room, smart classrooms, clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, and sports amenities, all of which ensure a conducive learning environment for students.
Dr. Gunbala Ameta (Ph.D. in Education, M.Ed., B.Ed., M.Sc. Botany, M.A. Political Science) is a dedicated academic leader and visionary educator with over 18 years of experience in teacher training colleges. Currently serving as Director of Manikyalal Verma Shramjeevi College, Pratapnagar Udaipur, she has contributed extensively to NEP 2020-aligned pedagogies and research supervision. She has authored books including General Science Teaching (B.Ed. Distance Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia Central University, New Delhi) and Sahitya Mein Naari Chetna Ke Swar. She has published 15 research papers in national and international journals and presented 22 papers in national and international conferences. She has also prepared the course content for the first-year paper of M.A. Bhagavad Gita at IGNOU, reflecting her deep engagement with Indian knowledge traditions. Her creative contributions include poems published in edited books such as Reminiscence, Heart Boats, and Story of Hearts, which are available on Amazon Kindle. She has actively enriched her academic journey by attending nearly 25 Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), and has served as Convenor of 2 Faculty Development Programs and 3 National Conferences. She has contributed to academic evaluation as External Examiner for B.Ed. final lessons and B.Sc. Botany practical examinations, and has been a member of the syllabus committee at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, preparing the B.Sc./B.Ed. Botany syllabus from first to sixth semester.Recipient of honors such as Vishisht Kavyitri Samman, Naari Gaurav Samman, Best Teacher Award, International Lady Legend Award, and the prestigious Swayam–NPTEL Discipline Star Award from IIT Kanpur, Dr. Ameta continues to inspire through her commitment to inclusive pedagogy, value-based learning, and blending Indian knowledge traditions with modern educational practices. She is also an active member of Lions Club Divine, Udaipur, contributing to social and community development.
