The Faculty of Science is an important constituent college of the University, making it an educational institution with a diverse and thriving community of students. The Faculty of Science is continuously enriching its identity. The Faculty of Science was established in the year 2016 at Manikya Lal Verma Shramjeevi College Campus with vision of empowering youth especially deprived classes to carry forward the imprints and benefits of education to their native place and at large in society. The mission of the Faculty of Science is to empower youth by teaching, learning, research and extension activities. At present the Faculty of Science, is running under graduate, post graduate and Ph. D. courses in various streams such as Botany, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Zoology, Statistics, Renewable Energy and Forensic Science.

Dr. Sapna Shrimali is a distinguished academician and expert in Mathematics, serving as Director, Faculty of Science and Head, Department of Mathematics at Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed To Be University), Udaipur. With over 25 years of experience, she has made notable contributions to teaching, research, and academic leadership. She has published more than 45 research papers in national and international journals and guided 15 Ph.D. scholars. An effective administrator, she contributes to institutional development and governance, and is a life member of Rajasthan Ganita Parishad. Her excellence has been recognized with the International Excellence Award for Academician of the Year (2023) and Naye Shakti Vandan Samman (2024). |

Dr. Bhavesh Joshi Dr. Bhavesh Joshi is currently working as Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Udaipur. He holds Ph.D., M. Phil., M. Sc. in Computer Science. He has more than 26 years of Teaching Experience in both UG (BCA, B. Sc. CS, B. Sc. CS Honors, B. Tech. CS) and PG (MCA, M. Sc. CS & IT, PGDCA) courses in Computer Science. He has 10 years of Research Experience. He has a strong passion for teaching UG and PG students, research, and innovation. He specializes in areas such as programming, data structures, and emerging technologies. His areas of expertise include Data Structures, Programming, Computer Architecture, DBMS, Data Mining, Cloud Computing, Embedded Systems, ASIP, MIS, along with a keen research interest in Big Data, IoT, GuidoGo, and AI. Dr. Dipti Soni is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 13 years of teaching, research, and student mentoring experience in higher education. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and possesses expertise in Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Natural Antioxidants, Water Quality Assessment, and Research Methodology. Throughout her academic career, she has been actively involved in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral teaching, laboratory management, curriculum development, and research supervision. She has successfully guided five research scholars who have been awarded Ph.D. degrees and is currently supervising five additional Ph.D. scholars. Her research contributions include publications in reputed journals and work on environmental sustainability, water quality improvement, and natural antioxidant studies. She has completed Laboratory Safety Induction Training at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, strengthening her expertise in laboratory safety, risk management, and compliance with modern laboratory practices. She is committed to academic excellence, innovative research, and student mentoring. |

(Organic Chemistry) from Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU). She was awarded Ph.D. in 2025 from Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University (JRNRVU). Her area of specialization is Organic Chemistry, and her research focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and biological evaluation of nitrogen and sulfur-containing heterocyclic compounds, along with computational studies. |

Dr. Yogita Shrimali is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Physics and Astrophysics with extensive experience in higher education, research supervision, and scientific conferences. She holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Mewar University and a Master's degree in Physics with a Gold Medal from J.N.V. University, Jodhpur. Currently serving as Head of the Department of Physics and Assistant Professor at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Udaipur, she has more than a decade of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her teaching expertise includes subjects such as Quantum Mechanics, Solid State Physics, Electronics, and Mathematical Physics. Dr. Shrimali has actively contributed to research in astrophysics, X-ray pulsars, quasiperiodic oscillations, and environmental physics, with multiple publications in reputed international journals. She has also supervised doctoral research and guided several ongoing Ph.D. scholars in environmental and atmospheric studies. An active participant and organizer in academic development, she has attended numerous national and international conferences, faculty development programs, and ISRO training programs, and has organized national conferences on emerging areas such as quantum computing and environmental physics. |

Dr. Sharma has authored 2 academic books, 6 book chapters and published more than 15 research papers in reputed journals. Dr. Shaktika Choudhary is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany since 2nd September 2022. She completed her 12th from RBSC in 2014, followed by B.Sc. in 2017 and M.Sc. in 2019 from B.N. University (MLSU). She was awarded Ph.D. in 2025 from Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University (JRNRVU). Her area of specialization is Organic Chemistry, and her research focuses on a study of Biodiversity and importance of peri-urban forest of Udaipur city with special reference to jungle safari park and surrounding areas. |
