We are committed to fostering a culture of respect, dignity, and equality, ensuring that everyone can pursue their academic and professional goals without fear of harassment or discrimination.
Our vision is to cultivate a university environment that is free from sexual harassment, where every individual feels safe, respected, and empowered to participate fully in university life. We aim to promote a culture of awareness and accountability, ensuring that all members of the university community understand the importance of consent and mutual respect.
The mission of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell is to:
Develop and implement comprehensive anti-sexual harassment policies that align
with national regulations and best practices.
Ensure that all members of the university community are made aware of these
policies during orientation and through ongoing communication.
Organize workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions to raise awareness about
sexual harassment, its consequences, and the importance of consent and respect.
Involve student leaders and organizations in promoting anti-sexual harassment
initiatives to foster peer support and accountability.
Establish a confidential and accessible reporting system for individuals to
report incidents of sexual harassment, ensuring that all reports are taken
seriously and investigated promptly.
Form a committee to investigate reported incidents, ensuring a fair and impartial
process for all parties involved.
Provide counseling services for individuals affected by sexual harassment,
offering emotional support and guidance to help them navigate their experiences.
Facilitate workshops on resilience and coping strategies to empower individuals
who have faced harassment.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and legal authorities to ensure that all
incidents of sexual harassment are addressed in accordance with the law.
Work with university administration to ensure that appropriate disciplinary
actions are taken against individuals found guilty of sexual harassment.
Implement a feedback mechanism to gather input from the university community
regarding the effectiveness of anti-sexual harassment measures and areas for
improvement.
Use feedback to continuously refine policies and initiatives, ensuring they
remain relevant and effective.
Conduct regular assessments of the campus environment to identify potential
risks and areas where additional support may be needed.
Monitor the effectiveness of awareness campaigns and support services, making
adjustments as necessary to enhance their impact.
The Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell at JRNRV is dedicated to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all members of the university community. By actively preventing sexual harassment and providing support to those affected, we aim to foster a culture of inclusivity and mutual respect. We encourage all individuals to stand against sexual harassment and work together to create a positive and supportive campus atmosphere.
