Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Udaipur was founded on 21 August 1937, Late Manishi Pt. janardhan Rai Nagar developed it into an Educational Center. Manikya Lal Verma Shramjeevi College was founded in 1956 as a constituent unit of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth. It was started as an evening college to provide opportunities of higher education to the students who worked during the day time and were interested in studying in the evening. This college began as an Arts college but gradually the faculties of commerce and science were also added. In 2017 Faculty of Education was also started with B.A. B.Ed. & B.Sc. B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated Course). It has a beautiful ambience with lush green campus and a well developed infrastructure including a very rich library.
Faculty Of Education
The Faculty of Education had its origin as the college of Education in 2017 and was affiliated to the Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University). The Faculty offers Four Year Integrated Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Education (B.A. B.Ed.) and Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Education (B.Sc. B.Ed.). At present the Faculty of Education recognized as one of the progressive teacher education institute known its quality and innovativeness. Admission process is centralized system through state level entrance test. These courses are approved and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Mission
The mission of the institute is to develop LOKMANYA, VALUE ORIENTED, DYNAMIC PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS who can serve efficiently at all levels of school education through inside and outside class activity in different social situations.

- To develop sense of social responsibility in would be teachers.
- To impart school of working with community.
- To impart education and skill to prepare teachers who can efficiently take the responsibility to developing cognitive, conative and psychomotor aspect of the personality of school students.
Educational Objectives
Faculty of Education aims to develop human resource in terms of effective school teachers as to achieve the excellence in teaching and innovation with Indian ethos.
Teacher Education program at MVSC, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University) intends to develop knowledge of Teaching Learning Process, competencies to transfer the knowledge, development of skills, organization and management of school system as well as to develop subject content and curriculum and maintain professional ethics and attitude towards teaching as a ‘noble profession’.
Faculty of Education purports to provide comprehensive inputs which are aimed:
- To study the education as a discipline.
- To prepare competent and enlightened teachers for different levels of education.
- To develop responsive, reflective and responsible teachers, educational administrators, researchers and academicians who will be able to work in collaboration with parents and community.
- To develop an understanding of focal concerns of education such as language diversity, inclusive education, gender neutral attitude and education for sustainable development and global citizenship.
- To prepare effective teachers by integrating the academic studies with professional understanding.

Teachers play a very important role in the lives of students. A teacher is someone who guides a student in his/her career. Therefore, it is very important that they have adequate resources that make a teacher an ideal role model for the students, because true teachers are like a bridge that serves themselves and helps the students to move ahead in life and achieve new goals and help in gaining experience.
The education system often presents several challenges to teachers. No teacher can survive in this dynamic profession without acquiring various skills and attributes that improve their knowledge, skills, and quality. For this, there are many educational institutions in India that offer various professional teacher training courses to improve the teaching skills of a student teacher for this role. The goal of our institution is to instill in you the desire to be creative and innovative.
Teachers are nation-builders. Children should be inculcated with social, moral, and spiritual values. Your role as an initiator of social change requires that you develop nationalism and internationalism in your children, prepare them to become global citizens, and develop high emotional and spiritual levels in them.
